The ’06 Silver Pekoe comes from Mt. Wuliang. It has been stored with a moderate amount of humidity, though it cannot be considered humid stored. The pressing of the tuo is moderate. The tea separates relatively easy. The aroma of the wet leaves pops with deep tones, very sweet and medicinal, like a cough drop or perhaps some Italian liqueur like galliano or amaro. Pure speculation to be honest, but this tuo possesses a pleasing measure of depth and complexity. Some smoke. Very aggressive mouthfeel. Stored in LA since ’19.
